Meet Pro-Guide Capt. Josh Cook
Capt. Josh is the co-owner of Georgia Sport Fishing Charters. He is highly dedicated to putting customers on the largest saltwater fish in the Jekyll Island and St Simons area. He’s been saltwater fishing for most of his adult life, a true Pro! Over the past 10 years, he has been trained exclusively for years under the scrupulous eye and fishing ethics/discipline of 31 year Master Angler and Pro Guide, Capt. Richie Lott. Capt. Josh joined the Georgia Sport Fishing Charters Family Business in early 2014 as a USCG licensed Captain and fishing guide. Georgia Sport Fishing Charters has provided high quality saltwater fishing charters in coastal Georgia since 1991. We’re happy and very lucky to have Capt. Josh with us as the co-owner of Georgia Sport Fishing Charters.
Josh offers our clients a specialized professional fishing skill set in live bait fishing and jigging on light/medium fishing tackle for a variety of saltwater fish including, but not limited to; Bull Redfish, Tarpon, Jack Crevalle, Black Tip and Spinner Sharks and much more. Offshore he fishes for Cobia, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel and so much more.
His dedication to the sport of fishing along with a good natured and calm attitude affords him a natural talent for pleasing our customers, and it truly shines when he’s working his magic on the boat! Josh is a people person with fishing skills and talent beyond what is normal, making him one of the best young fishing Guides in the Coastal Georgia area, hands down.
